GOLDEN ARROW has an extensive land package in Argentina that has taken more than 20 years to accumulate. It has a portfolio of nearly 30 highly prospective exploration properties, a number strategically located near major mines and within well known mining districts. Golden Arrow's Chinchillas Property is located in the prolific Bolivian silver-zinc-tin belt, just 30 kilometres to the southwest of Silver Standard's Pirquitas silver mine with 84 million ounces silver in reserves and from which 8.6 million ounces of silver was produced in 2012.1
Also located in southeast of the same province is the El Aguilar zinc-lead mine and Palpalá lead smelter,2
both owned by Glencore.
The Pescado Property is adjacent to Yamana Gold's producing Gualcamayo Mine, a discovery in which Management played a key role. Golden Arrow's management have been active in Argentina since 1993, maintain an exploration office in Mendoza, and the company is well positioned to undertake systematic exploration, either directly or with joint venture partners.
